Alice Ribardi

Alice Jane Lydia Ribardi, 89, a resident of Morgan City, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center. She was born on June 27, 1927 in Morgan City, the daughter of George Ratcliff and Lelia Dantin Ratcliff. Alice will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sons, Harris Ribardi and wife Lorraine of Thibodaux, Enis George Ribardi and wife Dana of Bayou Vista, Jared Ribardi; daughters, Barbara Evans of Gibson, Faye Harris and husband C.W. of Gretna; brother, Cyrus Ratcliff of Bayou L'Ourse; sisters, Julia Ditch, Mathalie DeVille, Kathryn Mareno, Bessie Richardson; 11 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren, and one great great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Ignace "Capt. Enis" J. Ribardi; parents, George and Lelia Ratcliff; brothers, Floyd, Earl, Ray and Johnny Ratcliff; and sisters, Enolia Millet, Wilna Millet, Laura Crouch, and Shirley Guidry. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 2, 2016 at Holy Cross Catholic Church from 9AM until service time. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11AM. Alice will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following services.
