Clayton Edward Taylor

Clayton Edward Taylor, 84, a resident of Benton, AR. and a native of JenningsLa. passed away Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Clayton was very proud to have served his country in the United States Navy. Clayton is survived by his five daughters; Martha Trangmar of Tyler, TX., Claydean Hicks of Bossier, LA., Merryl Fields of Blanchard, LA., Ida Pennison of Bayou L’Ourse and Shirlet Curtis of Benton, AR. Clayton is also survived by one sister, Trallis Tupper of Shreveport, LA and 15 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Clayton was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Fromenthal Taylor, his parents, Clifford and Ida Boone Taylor, three sisters, one brother, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. The visitation will be held Thursday, August 6, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm, resuming Friday, August 7, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8am until 10am. The Funeral service will commence at 10am officiated by Rt. Rev. John Smilie. Clayton will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery with the East St. Mary Veteran Funeral Squad conducting the Military Honors.
