Susana Ramirez Lopez Torres

Susana Lopez Ramirez Torres, 80, a resident of Patterson, passed away in her home on Thursday, February 23, 2017 surrounded by her adoring family. She was born on August 13, 1936 in Tuff, Texas, the daughter of Lacao “Leo” Ramirez and Ramona Lopez Ramirez. Susana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all who knew her. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Roberto Torres Sr.; three sons, Robert Torres Jr. of Jonesville, Ruben Torres and wife Lilly of Bayou Vista, Johnny Torres and wife Stephanie of Baton Rouge; three daughters, Paula Free and husband Gene of Patterson, Josie Torres of Berwick, Penny Daugherty and husband James of Bayou L’Ourse; fifteen grandchildren; and twenty-five great grandchildren. Susana was preceded in death by her parents, Lacao “Leo” Ramirez and Ramona Lopez; brother, Lacao “Leo” Ramirez Jr.; and two grandchildren, Brandy Free and Braden Chaisson. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00AM until 11:00AM. A Funeral Service officiated by Father William (Fr. Bill) Rogalla will begin at 11:00AM. Susana will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the Funeral Service.
