Joseph "J.W." Wayne Ward

Joseph Wayne “J.W” Ward, 80, a resident of Morgan City, was called home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Joseph was born December 17, 1936 in Mobile, Alabama, the son of Wayne Ambrose Ward and Zallar Morrison Ward. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 58 years, Mary Adams Ward of Morgan City; one son, Wayne Aaron Ward and wife Theresa Percle Ward of Morgan City; three grandchildren, Savannah Ward Gay and husband Eddie VI, Aaron Joseph Ward, and Dianne Marie Ward; one great granddaughter, Madison Boudreaux; numerous nieces and nephews. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne Ambrose Ward and Zallar Morrison, as well as two brothers and three sisters. Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Twin City Funeral Home with a rosary being held at 7:00 p.m. and following the rosary memories of J.W. will be shared.
