Donald Maurice Snodgrass Sr

Donald Maurice Snodgrass Sr., 76, a resident of Patterson, passed away at Teche Regional Medical Center on Tuesday, March 7, 2017 surrounded by his adoring family. He was born on July 21, 1940 in Midland, Texas, the son of Lewis Snodgrass and Orva Blancet Snodgrass. Donald was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend that will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife, Mary C. Snodgrass of Patterson; one son, Donald Snodgrass Jr. of Sunset; two daughters, Jana Wesley and companion Greg Gallegos of Denham Springs, Kathy Redmond and husband Kim of Prairieville; one step son, Byron Comeaux and wife Rhonda of Bayou Vista; two step daughters, Pam Arnette of Morgan City, Chantel Fontenot and husband Chad of Bayou Vista; sixteen grandchildren; great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family members. Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis Snodgrass and Orva Blancet Snodgrass; two brothers, Jan Snodgrass, Jerry Snodgrass; one sister, Alenta Larue Snodgrass; step son, Ricky Comeaux; and son in law, James Wesley. A Memorial Service will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. A visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
