Bewford Guillory

Bewford Guillory, 76, a resident of Stephensville, passed away May 4, 2017 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Bewford was born on April 26, 1941, in Bayou Chene, the son of Lettell Guillory and Bertha Pearce Guillory. Bewford was a hard worker who provided for his family dedicating his life to being on the water as a boat captain and a commercial fisherman. While fishing crawfish he would always have his wife in the boat by his side. He was very proud of his family, but was especially proud of grandchildren and great grandchildren, who were very dear to him. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years, Dorina Billiot Guillory of Stephensville; two daughters, Annette Guillory of Stephensville and Julie Pearce and husband Eugene of Patterson; 11 grandchildren, Odie Nadar, Courtney Ramagos, Garrett Pearce, Pamela Guillory, Douglas Werline, Leanna Gresco, Micheal Werline, Danielle Billiot, Megan Guillory, Eddy Bushinelle, Brittany Pearce; 13 great grandchildren, Gavyn, Sam, Landyn, Kumarigrace, Jaylie, Jaaron, Mason, Amiyah, Zayn, Jaydon, Levi, Jardon, Adrielle; two sisters, Euna Blakeman and Adlena Mayon. Bewford was preceded in death by his parents, Lettell Guillory and Bertha Pearce Guillory; one son, Beauford “Butch” Guillory; one daughter, Sandra Werline; one sister, Dolores Badeaux. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 8, 2017 at Twin City Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Cuvillier officiating. A visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Twin City Funeral Home with the visitation resuming on Sunday, May 7, 2017 from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The visitation will resume from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home. Following the services Bewford will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
