Dudley Gaspar

Dudley Gaspar a lifelong resident of Berwick went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 30, 2009 at his residence surround by his loving family.
Dudley Gaspar was a medic in the Army during WWII and later became an ordained minister. Dudley was always striving to save lives one way or the other. Dudley was also a die-hard Saints fan, even when they were being the “Aints” and others wore brown paper bags on their heads. He was always such an encouragement to everyone he was around and enjoyed bringing hope to his or her lives. Dudley was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle to his family and will be truly missed.
Dudley is survived by his two sons; David Gasper of Broussard, and Mitchell Gaspar of Berwick, his three daughters; Linda Keller and her husband, Joe of Patterson, Fay Anslem and her husband, Nelson of Stephensville, and Wendy Peeples and her husband, John of Pennsylvania, 23 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Dudley was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Lucretia Gaspar, his wife Rachel Gaspar, two sons; Dudley Gaspar Jr., and Michael Gaspar, one daughter, Deborah Gaspar, two brothers; Louis Gaspar, and Raymond Gaspar, two sisters; Eula Fitzpatrick and Marguerite Cubbedge, one grand child, Steven Keller, and one great grandchild, Kaleb Peeples.
Visitation was today, Monday, November 2, 2009 at 9:00am until 11:00am and the service was held at 11:00am at Twin City Funeral Home. Dudley was laid to rest at the Morgan City Cemetery.
