Roger Scully Sr.

Roger Scully Sr., 52, a resident of Bayou Vista and a native of Morgan City, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at his home. Roger loved to be on the water, he was a commercial fisherman for most of his life. Roger had a great sense of humor, he loved telling jokes. Roger will be missed by all that knew him. Roger is survived by his wife Renee Aucoin Scully of Bayou Vista, one son Roger Scully Jr. and his wife Jennifer of Morgan City and one daughter, Shelly Marie Scully of Bayou Vista. Roger is also survived by three brothers; Edward Scully Jr. and his wife Patty of Morgan City, Anthony and Sterling Scully, both of Amelia and two grandchildren, Lexi and Noah Scully. Roger was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Scully Sr. and Velma Dupre Scully. The visitation will be Monday, November 09, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm, resuming Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home from 8am until 10am. The funeral service will commence at 10am. Roger will be laid to rest in St. Andrew’s Cemetery.
