Gerald Provorse

Gerald Arthur Provorse May 6, 1930 November 11, 2009 Gerald Arthur Provorse a native of Coffeyville, Kansas and a resident of Amelia, Louisiana passed away on November 11, 2009 at the Morgan City Health Unit. Gerald devoted a part of his life to the service of his Lord by ministering to trouble youth and being a missionary. Gerald was also in the Army Engineers from 1948 to 1950. He enjoyed his family and spending time with them on every occasion he could. Gerald will be truly missed by his family and all that knew him. Gerald is survived by his wife, Nancy, of Amelia, LA his three sons; Larry A. and Virginia L. Provorse of Amelia, LA, Kelly M. and his wife, Virginia B. Provorse of Oklahoma and Bruce E. and his wife, Julie of Oklahoma, his daughter Judith and her husband Michael Lafferty of Nevada. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and two sisters.
