Bermingham "BP" Paul Hebert

September 14, 1926 — November 28, 2009

Bermingham P. Hebert, a native of Basile, La. and a resident of Amelia, La. passed away at Teche Regional Medical Center on Saturday, November 28, 2009. “BP” was a very prayerful man and a devout Catholic. “BP” was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. “BP” had a joy for life, he enjoyed French music and dancing. He loved to tinker with things and had a green thumb when it came to his yard. “BP” never met a stranger and always had a smile, he like joking around for a little fun. “BP” loved his wife, children and especially enjoyed spoiling his grandchildren. “BP” is survived by his wife Pearl McDaniel Hebert of Amelia, two daughters; Erina Mae Thomson of Amelia and Yvonne Morrison of Amelia, three sons; Kenneth Hebert Sr. and his wife Cyretha of Bayou L’Ourse, William Hebert of Broussard and Edwin Hebert and his wife Becky of Lafayette. “BP” is also survived by two sisters; Lolafern Dietz of Jennings, Lillie Comeaux and her husband Darryl of Basile, 17 grandchildren 17great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren and many special friends. The visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2009, at Twin City Funeral Home from 2pm until 9pm, resuming Tuesday, December 1, 2009 at St. Andrews Catholic Church from 9am until 11am. A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11am. “BP” will be laid rest in the St. Andrews Cemetery.
