Audrey F. Chauvin

Audrey F. Chauvin, a native of Gibson, La. and a resident of Morgan City died on December 4, 2009, at Teche Regional Medical Center. Audrey was as very devout Catholic and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church here in Morgan City. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grand mother, who was proud of her children, grand children and great grandchildren.
Audrey is survived by her husband of 68 years, N. A. “Bert” Chauvin, one son, Andre Chauvin, and his wife, Greig, of Morgan City, two daughters, Linda Sue Webster, and her husband, J. Cameron, of Morgan City, and Lori Austin, and her husband, Curtis of Cypress, Texas. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Darrell Webster and his wife Valerie, Dr. Robert Webster and his wife Sunshine, Matthew Austin, John Austin, Katie Chauvin, Julia Chauvin, and Gray Timmons, four great grandchildren, Miles, Jude, Sophie, and Kaydence, and one brother, O. J. Foucheaux, and his wife, Yvonne, of Houma, La.
She was predeceased by her father and mother, Octave and Lydia Landry Foucheaux, four brothers, Irving, Stanley, Lionel, and Daniel Foucheaux, and a sister, Louise F. Guidry.
Audrey’s family would like to acknowledge her excellent caregivers, Mary Faulk, Theresa Johnson, and Tina Hernandez. The family is appreciative of the excellent care that their wife and mother was given by Dr. Lantier Albert and the sixth floor nurses staff, the E.R. staff and the nurses of I.C.U.
Pallbearers will be Darrell Webster, Dr. Robert Webster, Matthew Austin, John Austin, J. Cameron Webster, and Curtis Austin. Honorary pallbearers will be O. J. Foucheaux, Miles Webster, and Jude Webster.
Visitation will be on Saturday, December 5, 2009 beginning at 10 AM until 12 PM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 12 PM, with burial to follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.
