Luke Guidry

Luke Guidry a life long resident of Morgan City passed away at Teche Regional on Monday, December 21, 2009. Luke was a loving and devoted son and brother to his family who loved him very much. Luke loved to work with his hands. He was always repairing something and giving it away to someone who was in need. Luke really had a big heart and enjoyed working in the garden. His latest project was repairing old rocking chairs and getting them ready to use. Luke will be truly missed by his family and friends. Luke is survived by his mother, Rosalie Rodriguez of Morgan City, his brother Gerald Joseph Guidry Jr. of Morgan City, three sisters; Bonnie Guidry of Virginia, Darlene Picou and her husband, Charles of Lafayette, and Lesley Dunagin and her husband, Kenneth of Morgan City. Luke was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Joseph Guidry Sr., and his brother, Glynn Guidry. Luke’s visitation will be on Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at 6pm until 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home and resume on Thursday, December 24, 2009 at 8am until 10am. The service will begin at 10am and Luke will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
