Elaine “Tuttie” Leblanc Lodrigue a native of Lafayette and a resident of Berwick passed away on Monday, December 21, 2009 at her residence. Tuttie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with each of them. She was a very caring mother to her children and will be truly missed by her family and friends. Tuttie is survived by her husband, Billy Lodrigue, four sons; Robert Nixon and his wife, Yolette of Lake Charles, Shannon Nixon of Berwick, Dominic Guzzetta and his wife, Lisa, of Lake Charles and Kenneth Lodrigue and his wife, Wendy of Patterson, five daughters; Carmen Granier of Patterson, Michelle Hebert of Pierre Part, Chinchetta Toups and her husband, Oscar of Morgan City, Billy Jo Fagout and her husband, Donald of Stephensville and Tina Federer of Berwick. She is also survived by two brothers; David Leblanc of New Iberia and Roy Hollier and his wife, Janet of Baton Rouge, four sisters; Erlene Mirza and her husband, Nick of Natchitochas, Thelma “Tiny” Leblanc of New Iberia, Susie Hinson and her husband, Charles of Bakersfield, California, and Linda Girouard and her husband, Paul of Texas along with 27 grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Tuttie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Isaac and Eula Mae Leblanc. Tuttie’s visitation will be on Wednesday, December 30, 2009 beginning at 9am until 1pm at Twin City Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.
