Carrie Aucoin Daigle August 23, 1938 December 25, 2009 Carrie Daigle a resident of Morgan City passed away at Thibodaux Regional on December 25, 2009. Carrie loved her family and especially her grandchildren. She was an excellent cook and knew how to make everyone feel at home. She also spent many hours tending her flowers in the garden. Carrie was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family and friends. Carrie is survived by her husband, Louis Daigle of Morgan City, her two sons Aaron Hebert Jr. and his wife, Valarie of Morgan City, and Michael Daigle of Morgan City, her three daughters; Sharel Hebert and her husband, Eric Sr. of Lake Charles, Karel Landry and her husband, Robert of Lake Charles, and Janet Kinkle and her husband, James of Morgan City. She is also survived by her two brothers; Henry Aucoin Sr. and Leonard Aucoin of Morgan City, and two sisters; Beatrice Landry and Margie Aucoin both of Morgan City, and eight grandchildren; Eric Hebert Jr., Kristen Hebert, Austin Hebert, Nikki Landry Steward, Lauren Landry Migues, Jenna Landry, Chelsea Kinkle and Megan Daigle. Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Leonce and Anna Lee Aucoin, five brothers and one sister. Carrie’s visitation took place today, Monday, December 28, 2009 at Twin City Funeral Home which began at 10 am until 2 pm and the service followed immediately after. Carrie was laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers monetary donations may be made in Carrie Daigle’s name to the Ethel Precht Breast Cancer 3K, 165 West Precht Road, Lake Charles, LA 70630.
