Faith Mancuso

Faith Chauvin Mancuso, a native of Berwick, died in Lafayette, LA on Friday, January 29, 2010. Faith was a loving, caring, sweet person who surrounded herself with her friends and especially with her family. She loved to laugh. She loved her card parties with her sisters and special friends. Her faith was one of her strongest points as she truly lived up to her name. She loved sewing, cooking, and gardening and enjoyed the outdoors. She loved many things in this life, but her greatest love was her family to whom she was very devoted. She was such a beautiful person both inside and out. Faith is survived by 3 sons, Nick Mancuso, and his wife, Susan, of Metairie, Bart Mancuso and his wife, Monica of Morgan City, and Vincent Mancuso, Jr. and his wife Trish of Youngsville, 2 daughters, Gina and her husband Mark Campo of Berwick, and Fran Mancuso of Carencro. She is also survived by a brother, Lyle Chauvin of Houston, TX., 2 sisters, Gloria Nini of Berwick, and Lana Hood of Des Allemands, LA. Faith is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, and a very special friend, Yvonne Rosado. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Maggie Fabre Chauvin and Gildon Chauvin, Sr., her loving husband, Vincent A Mancuso Sr., a granddaughter, Allison Campo McKay, and two brothers, Gildon and Clayton Chauvin. Visitation will be from 6PM until 9PM on Sunday January 31, 2010, at Twin City Funeral Home, and resume at 8 AM until 10 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 AM. Interment will be in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
