Charles Johnson

Charles David Johnson March 16, 1952 January 29, 2010 Charles David Johnson a native of Oakdale, LA and a resident of Gray passed away on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Oshner in New Orleans. Charles was an all around great person to be around. He enjoyed fishing, camping in a tent, music, dancing, making people laugh and spending time with the apple of his eye, his daughter. Charles is survived by his daughter, Brittany Johnson of Pierre Part, his two sons; Mark Johnson and his wife, Sabine of Bayou Blue, and Peter Johnson and his wife, Pamela of Germany, his mother Christine Johnson Hamilton, one brother, Joseph Johnson of Morgan City, and one sister, Brenda Gertz and her husband, Lee of Gray, and one grandson, Taylor Johnson. Charles was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Johnson, and one daughter, Jennifer Johnson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 9, 2010 starting at 9am until 10am at Twin City Funeral Home. The service will begin at 10am at the funeral home and Charles will be laid to rest in the Port Hudson National Cemetery. Pastor John M. Smilie of The Healing Center Fellowship will be officiating.
