Lois Mary Duplantis Scully September 11, 1935 February 19, 2010 Lois Scully, a native of Grand Caillou and a resident of Morgan City passed away on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Lois is survived by four sons; John Scully Jr. and his wife, Veronica of Broussard, Russell Scully of Morgan City, Gary Scully and his wife, Lana of Gainesville, TX, David Scully of Bayou Vista, two daughters; Sylvia Kircher of Berwick, Tammy Scully of Houma, three brothers; Lindy Paul Duplantis of Abbeville, Roland Duplantis and his wife, Beverly of Chauvin and Roy Baudoin of Kenya, Africa, and six sisters; Ann Perez of Golden Meadow, Juanita Duplantis of Galliano, Merril Naquin and her husband, Roland of Chauvin, Julia Duplantis of Houma, Jackie Baudoin of Marksville, and Jeanie Hebert of Berwick, nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Lois was preceded in death by her parents, Lucius and Eunice Duplantis, and her husband, John J. Scully Sr., one son, Rickey P. Scully, and two brothers; Davis and Johnny Duplantis. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2010 starting at 6pm until 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home and resuming on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at 9am until 11am with a service starting at 11am. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
