Earl Joseph “Boo” Rock Jr.

Earl Joseph Rock Jr., a native of Morgan City, died at his residence at 2930 Sixth St., in Berwick.
“Boo” as he was known to his many friends and family loved many things in his life such as art and he was very good at drawing. He also loved riding his motorbikes, classic rock music, and cooking. This simple man was a very prayerful person and a Catholic by faith with a heart of gold. He was also a jokester as he loved to pull pranks on friends and family. His greatest love was his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
“Boo” is survived by three daughters, Carissa Rock of Berwick, Sarah Elliot of Morgan City, and Lacey Fabre of Amelia, a son Claiborne Fabre of Amelia, two brothers, Brad Rock and his wife Tricia of Amelia, and Brock Rock of Flagstaff, Arizona, and a sister, Priscilla R. Cooley and her husband James of DeRidder, La.,. and his special friend and soul mate, Donna Fabre. He is also survived by three grandchildren, Ryan Boudreaux, Jeremy Godeaux II, and Peyton Godeaux, two nephews, Brandon Rock, and Jared Cooley, and one niece, Jana Cooley.
Earl was preceded in death by his mother and father, Beatrice Pennison and Earl Joseph Rock Sr., and a brother, Chris Rock. Earl’s wish was to be cremated, and so he was. A memorial service will be held in his honor on Thursday, February 25, 2010, from, 6PM until 9PM at Twin City Funeral Home.
