Margaret Carpenter LeBoeuf December 7, 1949 - April 2, 2010 Margaret Carpenter LeBoeuf, a native and resident of Morgan City, died at her residence here in Morgan City on Friday April 2, 2010. Many will remember Margaret in her chosen profession as a registered nurse here at Teche Regional Medical Center. She received her nursing degree late in life and immediately became a workaholic, putting in many hours of work and then studying many hours to make her more able to serve the sick of her community. She always accepted the opportunity to better her skills as she had many certifications in the medical field. She was a true example of what it meant to serve others. She enjoyed many things in life but most of all, the simple things were her favorite, such as a pretty yard in which she enjoyed working. Friendships were important to her as she had made plenty in her short sixty years. Most important to her was her family which revolved around her two grand children, Bridgette and Elijah Swan. Margaret is survived by a devoted and long time companion, Maxwell Crochet, a daughter, Alesha Swan, an extra special son in law, Wilbert Swan, two grandchildren, Bridgette and Elijah Swan, a brother, Larry Carpenter and his wife Donna of Slidell, a devoted sister, Evelyn C. Bergeron and her husband Larry of Morgan City. She is also survived by a person who devoted her time to Margaret by relocating to Morgan City to assist her in running her house and caring for her and her family, namely, a great person ,Cindy Crochet. She was predeceased by a beloved daughter, Bridgette LeBoeuf, her husband, Barry LeBoeuf, and her mother and father Grace and Clinton Carpenter. A memorial service will be held on Friday April 9, 2010, beginning at 6PM until 9PM, at Twin City Funeral Home.
