Barbara Simoneaux
December 13, 1942 - April 25, 2010
Barbara Dinger Simoneaux, a native of Berwick and a resident of Bayou L'Ourse died at Terrebonne General Medical Center on Sunday April 25, 2010, surrounded by her family.
Barbara loved the outdoors so much that she spent most of her time outside gardening of both vegetables and flowers. She also loved camping, and fishing. She also loved caring for wild animals and bird, as she fed all of them. Barbara belonged to AAR P, and “Shrimp City Sams Club”. She enjoyed music, crossword puzzles, and spoiling her grandchildren. She was her best at family gatherings and making people laugh. She was a true outdoors person.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Leo Simoneaux of Bayou L'Ourse, one son, Camille Simoneaux and his wife, Charlene, of Gautier, Miss., four brothers, Leonard Dinger and his wife Annie, of Amelia, Wayne Dinger Sr. and his wife Patti of Youngsville, La., Kirk Dinger Sr. and his wife Kathey, of Berwick, and Rodney Dinger Sr. and his wife Julie, of Patterson, two sisters, Bonnie D. Theriot and her husband “Tex” of Berwick and Denise Gee of Gladewater; Tex. Barbara is also survived by four grandchildren, Lawrence “Joey” Simoneaux, Jayla Simoneaux, Donald Clause and Summer Clause
She was preceded in death her mother and father, Edna Written and Joseph Dinger, and a brother, Lawrence Dinger.
Visitation will be Monday April 26, 2010,at Twin City Funeral Home from 6PM until 9PM and resuming on Tuesday April 27, 2010 from 9Am until 11am, the funeral service will begin at 11AM. at Twin City Funeral Home. Barbara will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
