Rita Mae Legnon August 9, 1944 April 29, 2010 Rita Mae Legnon a native of Morgan City and a resident of Patterson passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010 at her place of residence. Rita Mae’s life revolved around her children and grandchildren. They were very special to her and she will be greatly missed by them. Rita Mae is survived by her companion, Michael Estelle of Patterson, four sons: Tunie Bullock of Morgan City and his wife, Amy, Nathaneal Clark III of Patterson and his wife Alida, Danny Bullock of Morgan City, and James Bullock of Morgan City; four daughters: Mary Foret of Bayou Vista and her husband, Raymond, Mary Bullock of Morgan City, Rita Sharp of Bayou Vista, and Nelia Bullock of Morgan City; five sisters: Anna Stevens of Berwick, Mary Jane Comeaux of Morgan City, Betty Jane Franklin of Berwick and her husband, Ricky, Peggy Ann Boone of Berwick and Dorothy Ahmad of Patterson and her husband, Dean; one brother, Euclide Legnon of Morgan City. She is also survived by 36 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Rita Mae was preceded in death by her parents, Euclide Joseph Legnon Sr. and Nelia Cavalier Legnon Lee, one brother, Norah Legnon, one sister, Gloria Horton; three sons: James Leroy, Joel Johnson, and Joel Jr. Bullock, and one daughter, Odelia Bullock. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home starting at 9am until 10am with a service starting at 10am. Rita Mae will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
