Derry Smith

Derry James Smith January 16, 1953 May 4, 2010 Derry James Smith a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at his residence. Derry is survived by his mother, Bessie Smith of Morgan City; two sister: Lynn Rosson of Morgan City, and Jill Hanks of DeQueen, Arkansas; one nephew, Scott Rosson of Morgan City; three nieces: Meredith Landry of Belle River, Stacey Noskey of Ceder Springs, Mich., and Brandy Hanks of DeQueen, Arkansas, along with numerous great nieces and nephews. Derry was preceded in death by his father, James Smith. Visitation will take place on Friday, May 7, 2010 starting at 9am until 2pm with a funeral service beginning at 2pm at Twin City Funeral Home. Derry will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
