Ywell Silas Thomas Jr. May 9, 1949 May 17, 2010 Ywell Silas Thomas Jr. a native of Morgan City and a resident of Gibson passed away on Monday, May 17, 2009 at Physicians Alliance of Houma. Ywell is survived by his wife, Cherry Thomas of Gibson, two sons: Donny Thomas and his wife Sarah of Alaska and Joseph Hebert and his wife Kitty of Morgan City; one daughter, Michelle Hanks of Alaska; two brothers: Alvin Forrest of Port St. Lucy, Florida and Roy Forrest of Jacksonville, Florida; two sisters: Sara Thomas, of Franklin and Anne Moore of Houma, along with nine grandchildren. Ywell was preceded in death by his parents, Ywell and Rose Thomas Sr. and one son, Clint Joseph Hebert. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home starting at 5pm until 8pm. The family would like to thank the staff of West Jefferson Medical Center and Physicians Alliance of Houma for their kind and loving care given to Ywell.
