Audrey Jean Garracci

Audrey Jean Garacci November 14, 1931 July 19, 2010 Audrey Jean Garacci a native of Morgan City and a resident of Bayou Vista passed away on Monday, July 19, 2010 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Audrey was known by many for her dancing and enjoyment of life and having a good time. She and her husband spent many of nights dancing at the AARP functions when music was involved. She would also enjoy other life’s pleasures such as: gardening, fishing, craw fishing, taking vacations on the road and even the occasional cruse. Audrey was so much fun to be around and spend time with. Audrey is survived by her husband, Anthony Garacci Sr.; her son, Anthony Garacci Jr. of Idaho; her daughter Toni Grizzaffi and her husband, Joseph “Joe” Jr. of Baton Rouge; one sister, Mitzi Cortez of Pierre Part and two grandchildren, Ryan Grizzaffi and Kelsey Grizzaffi. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hilton and Marie Harkins. Visitation will be held on Friday, July 23, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home starting at 6pm until 9pm and resuming at Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Saturday, July 24, 2010 starting at 8am until 10am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 10am. Audrey will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
