Gustavo P. Rivera

Gustavo Rivera Jr., a native LaFeria, TX. and a resident of Patterson passed away on Friday, July 29, 2010 at his residence. Gustavo is survived by his wife, Lola Rivera; two sons: Gerald Rivera and Aaron Brown, three daughters: Rebecca Adams, Ramona Carpenter and Kayla Rivera; four brothers: Jose, Urbano, Rene and Ralph Rivera; six sisters: Olivia Mejorado, Ylda Ramirez, Minerva Guzman, Olga Lasher, JoAnne Dupre, Nelda Naquin and Laura Boyd and nine grandchildren. Gustavo was preceded in death by his parents, Gustavo and Guadalupe Pacheco Rivera Sr. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home beginning at 9am until 10:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Patterson. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass. The United Veterans League of Terrebonne Parish will perform full military honors at the funeral home starting at 9:30am. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
