Elizabeth A. Morgan Cumbess March 3, 1961 August 31, 2010 Elizabeth A. Morgan Cumbess 49 years old, native of Amelia, resident of Bayou Vista passed away at her residence Tuesday, August 31, 2010, after a long fight with cancer. She really enjoyed spending time with her family, children and especially her granddaughters. She loved to cook. Her favorite foods were mash potatoes, crawfish and crabs. She was greatly loved by all who knew her and will be truly missed. Elizabeth is survived by three children; Rickey J. Mire Jr. and his wife, Alisha, Mindi N. Mire and Corey A. Mire all of Bayou Visit; her parents, Harvey and Barbara Morgan of Amelia; her sisters: Tina Stratton and her husband, Wayne of Patterson, Eva Guidry and her husband, Brian of Amelia, Annette Landaiche and her daughter, Nina Morgan of Morgan City, Suzette McCall and her husband, Mikie of Bayou vista, Ollie Ables and her husband, Michael of Schriever and Katie Helms of Bayou Vista; one brother, Antoine (Tony) Latiolais of Bayou Vista, 17 nieces and nephews and 23 great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother, Katie Sue Helms, great niece, Ryliegh Nicole Walker, son, Joshua James Mire, and brother, Charles W. Crowson Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Saturday, September 4, 2010 beginning at 3pm until 7pm.
