Darlene Marie Romero September 21, 1957 September 8, 2010 Darlene Marie Romero a native of New Iberia and a resident of Bayou Vista passed away at her residence on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Darlene loved making great deals on items at yard sales and collecting nic naks as often as she could. She enjoyed passing a good time with family and friends when she able. Darlene was one of the rare individuals that did not mind cleaning her house along with cleaning other peoples' homes. She had a big heart. Darlene is survived by her husband, Ronald Romero of Bayou Vista, one son, Herman Hebert of Bayou Vista; three sisters: Dorothy Gaspard Boutte of St. Martinville, Louise G. Bodin of Covington and Willa G. Faulk of New Iberia; four brothers: Alton Gaspard of Lydia, Preston Gaspard of Glencoe, Carroll Gaspard of Patterson and Thomas Gaspard of Breaux Bridge. Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Oday and Lucia Gaspard; three brothers: Roland Gaspard, Johnny Gaspard and Jimmy Gaspard and one nephew, Scotty Boutte. Darlene’s Memorial Service will take place on Friday, September 17, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home starting at 5pm until 9pm. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
