Michael Gordon Gilmore Jr. June 16, 1987 September 8, 2010 Michael Gordon Gilmore Jr. a native of Morgan City and a resident of Patterson passed away on Wednesday, September 8, 2010. Michael loved to spend time fishing, hunting, four wheeling and working in the yard. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed dearly by them. Michael is survived by his wife, Amanda Gilmore of Patterson and their son, Carson Gilmore. He is also survived by his parents, Michael and Tina Gilmore Sr. of Bayou Vista: one brother, Travis Gilmore of Bayou Vista; one sister, Kayla Jackson and her husband, Matthew of Duncan, OK; paternal grandparents: Cecil (David) Gilmore and Dorothy Topham Gilmore of Berwick; maternal grandmother, Shirley Wiese of Bayou Vista along with a host of aunts and uncles. Michael was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Fred Wiese Sr., and two uncles: Daniel Gilmore and Fred Wiese Jr. Michael’s visitation will be on Saturday, September 11, 2010 from 10am until 1pm with a service following at 1pm at Twin City Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
