Betty Jean Gaudet

Betty Jean Perkins Gaudet October 7, 1935 October 14, 2010 Betty Jean Perkins Gaudet a native of Kentucky and a resident of Morgan City passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at her residence after a ten year fight with Alzheimers. After meeting the love of her life, Roger Gaudet, they married and raised five children in Morgan City. She was a wonderful wife and mother and will be missed beyond words by all who knew her. We love you mom!! More than words can ever express! Betty is survived by her husband of 51 years, Roger Gaudet and her children: Beverly Gaudet Hunt, Brenda Gaudet Robinson, Roger Gaudet II, Chad Gaudet, Jill Gaudet and her 11 grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, Curtis and Stella Perkins. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Sunday, October 17, 2010 starting at 6pm until 9pm and resuming on Monday, October 18, 2010 at 9am until 11am. The service will begin at 11am and she will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service. After the graveside food and beverages will be served at the Church of God of Prophecy on Second Street in Morgan City. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
