Robert Plaisted

Robert Michael Plaisted November 12, 1970 October 21, 2010 Robert Michael Plaisted a native of Panama City, Florida and a resident of Metairie passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at his residence. Robert was a huge NASCAR fan as much as he enjoyed fishing. Robert also loved to spend time with his many nieces and nephews. Robert is survived by his wife, Vicki Lynn Lormand Plaisted of Metairie; his father, Thomas Plaisted of Callaway, Fl.; his mother, Mary Plaisted; one brother, Jimmy Plaisted and his wife, Marla of Lynnhaven, Fl.; one sister, Cynthia Plaisted of Panama City, Fl.; grandmother, Annelie Plaisted Martin of Callaway, Fl.; father and mother-in-law, Lawrence and Nancy LeBlanc of Bayou L’ourse; mother-in-Law, Sylvia Lormand of Breaux Bridge; four sisters-in-law: Linda and Mitch Shannon of Panama City, Tammy and Gerard Adams of Larose, Michelle and Robert Bowers of Bayou L’ourse and Donna and Paul DeSanctis of Philadelphia; three brothers-in-law: Vincent and Nina Lormand of Henderson, Tony and Cathy Chance of Virginia and Ronald and April Chance of Lafayette. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews and two great nieces and two great nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Ray Lormand, paternal grandfather, maternal grandparents and two uncles. Robert’s memorial service will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, LA which is located at 2250 Cecilia Senior High School Hwy, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517. The service will start at 1:00pm on Tuesday, October 26, 2010.
