Dean Paul Broussard September 23, 1965 December 4, 2010 Dean Paul Broussard, a native of Lydia and a resident of Patterson, passed away before his time on Saturday, December 4, 2010. Dean was a dedicated father to his two girls, Alison and Sarah. He would do anything for them even if it meant he would have to do without. Dean was known as a man who was self-sacrificing and would give of himself to anyone who needed help. Dean loved to spend time on the computer playing poker and spending quite time at home. Last but not least was that he was a committed and enthusiastic Saints, LSU and Patterson Lumberjacks fan. Dean, you are loved and will be missed and never forgotten. Dean is survived by his mother, Dale Broussard of Lydia; two daughters: Alison and Sarah Broussard of Patterson and their mother, Jennifer McDonald; one sister, Lisa Melancon and her husband, Tony of Coteau; three brothers: Wade Broussard and his wife, Monica of Coteau, Ward Broussard and his wife, Shelly of Lydia and Clint Broussard and his wife, Melinda of Lydia; Numerous nieces & nephews; Godchildren: Ashley Blanchard and Callie Pagitt; Godparents: Betty Eskind and Stoney Hotard Jr. Dean was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Dudley Broussard; grandparents: Harold & Beulah Guidry , Step Grandmother Gladys Guidry, Charles and Lena Broussard and Leon and Orella Broussard. The Broussard family wishes to acknowledge and thank the McDonald family for all their love, help and support during this difficult time. Visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Monday, December 6, 2010 starting at 6pm until 10pm with a 7pm Rosary. The visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 beginning at 8am until 9:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10am officiated by the Monsignor Jace Eskind of the Catholic Diocese of Lake Charles. Pallbearers will be Wade, Ward & Clint Broussard, Tony Melancon, Brian Gagneaux, Paul “Jr” Bergeron, Ronald “Chip” Chillis & Justin Voisin Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
