Alice B. Bowers

Alice B. Bowers, 69, a resident of Morgan City, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at her home. Alice was born on August 9, 1948 in Independence, Louisiana the daughter of Ivy E. Bennett and Susie Gehegan Bennett. Alice loved to do her cross stitching making many things for her family members. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed her time with them. She loved to travel and she loved to watch her wresting on TV. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by four children, Eddie Deslattes Jr. of Morgan City, Matthew Deslattes and wife Donna of Bayou Vista, Nicholas Deslatttes and wife Amy of Broussard, Michelle Delco and husband Brandon of Patterson; four grandchildren, Shaletha, Jasmine, Jacob and Jeremiah; five step grandchildren, Cherie, Douglas Jr., Eric, Erin and Jayden; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Joyce Henagin and husband Anthony of Berwick, Bonnie Hollis and husband Buren Jr. of Denham Springs. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Ivy and Susie Gehegan Bennett; her husbands, Eddie Deslattes Sr. and Charles B. Bowers; one sister, Kathleen Graham. In keeping with Ms. Alice’s wishes there will be no services.
