Arthur "Mac" Adam Rulf

Arthur “Mac” Adam Rulf, 83, a resident of Stephensville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 24, 2022, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Mac was born March 11, 1939, in Berwick, the son of John Andrew Rulf and Josephine Blanchard Rulf.

Mac never met a stranger and was loved by all that knew him.  He enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and most of all loving on the grandkids.  He loved his family, and his pride and joy was his old cypress lugger boat the “Vickie”.  He spent a lot of his spare time cleaning and polishing the old boat and keeping it ready for the annual “Blessing of Fleet”.  He also enjoyed dancing with the love of his life and always considered the best couple on the dance floor.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his wife, Gloria Mayon Rulf of Stephensville; son, Andrew Rulf and wife Molly; daughter, Sharon Guidry and husband Marvin; four grandchildren, Celeste, Chantel, Stacey, and Jason; five great-grandchildren, Kai, Braylee, Brody, Ava, and Harper.

Mac was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Josephine Rulf; four brothers, Charlie, Harris, Heywood, and Otis Rulf; one sister, Florence Rulf Lacoste.

The pallbearers are Andy Rulf, Marvin Guidry, Jason Rulf, Dustin Domangue, Ron Roy, Paris Henry, and Kai Henry.

Funeral arrangements will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday November 28^th at Twin City Funeral Home, with Father Mike officiating. Visitation will be held Monday November 28^th from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. A rosary will be prayed at 12:30 prior to the services.  After services, Mac will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
