Barbara Marie Broussard

Barbara Marie Hebert Broussard, 72, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Ochsner St. Mary Hospital.

Barbara was born on February 11, 1948 in Morgan City, the daughter of Kervis Hebert and Audrey Guillot Hebert.

Barbara loved her family and cherished every moment she was able to spend with them, but especially loved her grandchildren. In her free time, Barbara loved doing her puzzles.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by two daughters, Melissa Eikey and husband Robert of Spring, Texas and Monica LeBoeuf and husband Bert Jr. of Houma; five grandchildren, Karla Little and husband Chris, Sean Hebert, Logan LeBoeuf, Layne LeBoeuf and Landon LeBoeuf; five great grandchildren, Brennan Little, Rylee Little, Aspen Hebert, Brantlee Little and Kailee Little; one sister, Kathy Brunson and husband Thomas Sr. of Morgan City; one niece, Amy Kirkpatrick and husband Todd; one nephew, Bud Brunson and wife Erica; one great niece, Victoria Kirkpatrick and two great nephews, Grant Kirkpatrick and Drake Brunson.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Kervis and Audrey Guillot Hebert; her husband, Shelton Broussard; one brother, Donald Hebert.

Those honored to serve as pall bearers will be Sean Hebert, Chris Little, Robert Eikey, Bert LeBoeuf Jr., Bud Brunson, Todd Kirkpatrick, Cory Cudd. Honorary pallbearers will be Logan LeBoeuf, Layne LeBoeuf, Landon LeBoeuf, Thomas Brunson Sr. and Roger Leggett.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home with Father Brett Lapeyrouse officiating. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service and following the services, Barbara will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
