Bernice Baudoin Powers

Bernice Baudoin Powers, 64, a resident of Bayou L’Ourse, passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at her home.

Bernice was born December 13, 1956, the daughter of Eldridge Baudoin and Eugenia Fredrick Dinger.

Bernice was a beautiful person, inside and out; she had a very sweet soul, and had no enemy. Bernice made friends with everyone she met and her smile was contagious.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Angela Eguizabal and husband Nelson of Berwick, Janice Baudoin and significant other Douglas Marks of Morgan City; significant other of 23 years, Robert “Bobby” Hebert of Bayou L’Ourse; two sisters, Judy Voisin and husband Paul of Morgan City; Hazel LeJeune and significant other Charlie of Berwick; five grandchildren, Marissa Mire, David Mire, Journi Marks, Justus Marks, and Destin Marks; two great-grandchildren, Ryder and Kylan Marks.

Bernice was preceded in death by her father, Eldridge Baudoin; mother and step-father, Eugenia and Eldridge Dinger; son, William Powers; three brothers, John, Mike, and Ronald Baudoin.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the Twin City Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Davis officiating. Visitation will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, at Twin City Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., and again Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Twin City Funeral Home, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Bernice will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
