Betty Jean Boudreaux

Betty Jean Boudreaux, 82, a native of Bayou Boutte, LA and resident of Houma, LA, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022.

She is survived by her husband, Elwood Peter Boudreaux; sisters, Leanna Foret of Patterson, LA, Louella Aucoin of Patterson, LA, Emma Boudreaux and husband Stanley of Lydia, LA; her “two boys” Tyler and Logan Percle; a host of nieces and nephews and godchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Amos Scadlock and Eunice Comeaux Scadlock; brother, Amos Scadlock; sister-in-law, Liz Scadlock; brother-in-law, Edward Foret.

She will be lovingly remembered as a mother of many although having no children of her own, her immense generosity to others, and for her wonderful cooking.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 18, 2022 from 9:00 am to the religious service at 11:00 am at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, LA followed by burial in Morgan City Cemetery.
