Birdie Aycock Crouch, 75, a resident of Berwick, passed away Saturday, October 19, 2019, at Terrebonne General Hospital in Houma.

Birdie was born October 2, 1944, in Morgan City, the daughter of Earl Aycock and Olive Daigle Aycock.

Birdie was known for her home-made hangers, which she gave to all of her family and friends for holidays and birthdays. She was a member of the Troup 41 Boy Scouts for over 45 years, and was still currently a member of the district committee. Birdie enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two children, Dale Crouch of Houma, Jeannie Simmons and husband Mike of Morgan City; two grandchildren, Dale Crouch Jr. and Laney Crouch, both of Morgan City.

Birdie was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Aycock and Olive Daigle Aycock.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at Twin City Funeral Home with Father Toto officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 23, 2019 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services. After services, Birdie will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery.
