Brad David Rhodes

Brad David Rhodes unexpectedly left this earth on January 9, 2025, at the age of 64. He was a native and resident of St. Mary Parish.

Brad was born on March 24, 1960 to Pierre and Evelyn Rhodes in Morgan City, Louisiana. He was the youngest of four children. Brad grew up learning things by doing them. He was a "Jack of All Trades" and could always be counted on to help a friend or family member in need with any type of project. He graduated from Young Memorial Technical College and put his learned skills to work in the oilfield industry, traveling to and working in various locations throughout the world. Eventually, he created and operated his own successful business.

Although Brad was the youngest amongst his siblings, he was a fierce protector with a strong sense to nurture and care for those that he loved. Brad was known for standing up for his beliefs, his sense of humor, and his unmatched love and support for his friends and family. He leaves this world having made a profound impression on our lives as well as many, many fond memories that will be replayed in our hearts and minds forever.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, Pierre and Evelyn Rhodes, a brother, Scott Rhodes, and a nephew, Shane David Fabre. He is survived by his brother, Rodney (Kathy) Rhodes, and sister, Karen Fabre (Alan Pearson), along with many nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved dearly.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:00 AM at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City with Mass to follow.
