Carrie Mary Paray Lange, 90, a resident of Berwick, passed away peacefully, Thursday, October 22, 2020 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Carrie was born May 8, 1930, in Four Mile Bayou, the daughter of Charles Paray and Alice Fryou Paray.
Carrie owned her own restaurant in Calumet. She loved to cook and work in her yard up until her last days. Carrie also enjoyed to travel. She had a special place in her heart for her family, and enjoyed spending time with them.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons, George Lange and wife Daisy of Berwick, Bud Lange and wife Debra of Centerville; one daughter, Josie Lombas and husband Lawrence of Berwick; one sister, Julie Paray; 9 grandchildren, Kelly Sue, Kim, George Jr., Melissa, Lawrence Jr. Melinda, Tiann, Buddy, and Tana; a host of great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Carrie was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Alice Paray; husband, Wilbert Lange; three sisters, Emily Thibodeaux, Martha Overbay, and Alice Paray; three brothers, Harry, William “Bill”, and Lennis Paray.
The family would like to express their special thanks to the Bayou Nurses from Notre Dame Hospice; Lacey, Dawn, Terasita, and Brittany.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 23, 2020 at the Morgan City Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation will be held Friday, October 23, 2020 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
