It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Andrew Sweetser Jr., who departed this life on February 12, 2025, at the age of 77. Born on April 25, 1947, in Panama City, Florida, Charles was a dedicated electrician and carpenter, known for his craftsmanship and passion for woodworking.
Charles had a passion for motor sports, often sharing stories of races and his love for speed. He brought excitement and enthusiasm wherever he went, and his contagious spirit will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
Charles found profound joy in nurturing and caring for animals, an interest that reflected his gentle soul and compassionate nature. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his quiet strength, and his ability to bring laughter and warmth to those around him.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Sweetser; his son, Charles Sweetser III and his wife Lisa; and his daughter, Angela Anslum and her husband Eddie. Additionally, he is survived by his brothers, Steve Sweetser, Mike Sweetser, and Danny Donohue; his sisters, Linda Moore, Becky Coffey, and Danielle Donohue; as well as his cherished grandchildren, Claudia Pardilla, Eddie Anslum III, and Brodie Anslum, along with his great-grandchildren, Eli Anslum, Job Anslum, Lila Ruiz, Haiden Hebert, Jace Sevin, and Aria Melancon.
Charles was preceded in death by parents Charles Sweetser Sr. and Geraldine Donohue and his brother Paul Sweetser.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date
