Cody James Lodrigue

Cody "Tubbz" James Lodrigue, 23, a resident of Patterson, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2018.

Cody was born March 29, 1995, in Lafayette, the son of Kenneth Lodrigue and Tammy Ghirardi Como.

Best known for being the life of the party, Cody always brought smiles to the ones around him. He enjoyed fishing, making others laugh, showing off his dance moves, and spending time with his friends and family. Cody had a smile that could light up any room he walked into. He was a man full of kindness and passion. He would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. Most of all, Cody had a big heart. Strangers were never a thing for Cody, simply because he talked to everyone. He made friends with anyone who spoke to him. He has impacted everyone’s life in so many ways. Cody will forever be loved and missed, but never forgotten.

Cody will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father, Kenneth Lodrigue and stepmother Wendy of Patterson; mother, Tammy Como and stepfather Enrico of Morgan City; three brothers, Ryan Lodrigue of Patterson, Reid Lodrigue of Morgan City, Davide Como of Italy; four sisters, Lauren Lodrigue of Patterson, Chelsie LaCoste, Jada LaCoste, and Tiffany LaCoste, all of Morgan City; Grandparents, Roseann Lodrigue of Patterson, Glen and Mary Ghirardi of Morgan City, Barbera Brown of Morgan City, Glen Ghirardi Sr. of Morgan City; step grandpa, Hilton "Butch" Rink; three aunts, Tina Lodrigue of Berwick, Billie Jo Falgout of Morgan City, Robin Myers of Bayou Vista; step aunt, Penny Driskill; two uncles, Artie Myers of Bayou Vista and Donald Falgout of Morgan City.

Cody was preceded in death by his grandparents, Regina Leach and Billy Lodrigue; step grandma, Mellanie Landers; uncle, Robbie Hughes.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at Twin City Funeral Home with Pastor Herb Stanley from Cornerstone Ministries officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Following the service, Cody will be laid to rest in Berwick Cemetery.
