Daniel A. Badeaux

Daniel A. Badeaux, 87, a resident of Maurice and former resident of Patterson, passed away Friday, September 13, 2019 at Pelican Pointe Healthcare Center in Maurice.

Daniel was born on November 26, 1931 in Larose, Louisiana the son of Horace Badeaux and Hattie Rodriguez Badeaux.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by three children, Travis Badeaux Sr. and wife Karyn of Birmingham, Alabama, Sandra Badeaux of Slidell, Danette Bourgeois and husband Cory of Maurice; nine grandchildren, Heather Meador, Travis Badeaux Jr., Everett Badeaux, Juliana Badeaux, Charles Anthony Matt Jr., Bryana Matt, Jordan Bourgeois, Caroline Bourgeois, Abigail Bourgeois; eight great grandchildren; two sisters, Betty Martin of Cut Off, Ruth Badeaux Hebert of River Ridge; one brother, Lloyd Badeaux and wife Laura of Thibodaux; one brother-in-law, Maurice Terrebonne of Cut Off; numerous nieces and nephews.

Daniel was preceded in death by his parents, Horace and Hattie Rodriguez Badeaux; two sisters, Rose Terrebonne and Esther Horning; one brother, Clarence Badeaux; longtime companion, Shirley Giroir.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Larose with Father Duc Bui celebrating Mass. A visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until Mass time at the church. Following Mass Daniel will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.
