David Lee Norman

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of David Lee Norman, who departed this life on December 30, 2024, at the age of 75. David was born on February 8, 1949, in Morgan City, Louisiana, and spent his later years residing in New Iberia.

David was known for his deep love of Gospel music, which brought him joy and solace throughout his life. David was also an avid enthusiast of Westerns and war movies, David found joy in the stories of bravery and camaraderie depicted on screen. He leaves behind cherished memories that will be forever held in the hearts of those who knew him.

He is survived by his beloved niece, Dianna Husers, his brothers Abel Norman and Michael Norman, and his sister Martha Smilie. David will be remembered by a host of nieces and nephews who cherished his presence in their lives.

David was preceded in death by his parents Abel and Francis Norman and sister Mary Marceaux.

A visitation for David will be held on January 3, 2025, at 9:00 AM at Twin City Funeral Home, followed by a funeral service at the same location commencing at 1:00 PM. Family and friends are invited to join in honoring his life and memory.
