Deanna Rita Sampey

Deanna Sampey, 77, a resident of Berwick, LA, was born on September 4, 1945 and  passed away on May 5, 2023.

She was a loving wife, mother, nana and sister. She loved cooking for her family on Sundays, going to the movies, and playing pokeno with friends. She was also big into Mardi Gras. 

 
Deanna is survived by her husband of 59 years, Reginald Sampey,  son, Blair (Angela) Sampey daughter,  Amber Terrebonne -granddaughters, Alexis Terrebonne, Regan Sampey, Kennedy Sampey and grandson, Conner Terrebonne, sisters,  Nancy Marcel, Trudy Myers and Kim Breaux.
 
Deanna is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Thibodeaux and Shirley Thibodeaux,  brother, Bart Thibodeaux.
 
The service for Deanna Sampey will be held on Friday, at 10:00 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church.
 
Visitation: Friday, at 8:00 AM  until 10:00 AM at St. Stephen Catholic Church in Berwick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 10:00 AM.
 
Burial: Berwick Mausoleum.

In lieu of flowers Memorial donations can be made in Deanna's name to St. Judes.
