Deborah Romero, 68, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021.
Deborah was born October 4, 1952 to Albert T. and Elizabeth (Solar) Stansbury. She will be most remembered for her big generous heart. She loved her family deeply and with every fiber of her being. The highlight of her day was spending it with Chasitiy and Fraylee, making them happy made her happy. Debby even had plenty of honorary children and grandchildren also. She will also be remembered for the awesome fudge she made. Her crab and shrimp stuffed bell peppers and stuffed crabs were two of her best dishes also.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her two sons Shawn M. Stansbury and significant other Antoinette Hampton of Monroe, La. and Lucius P. Romero Jr. of Morgan City; a special daughter-in-law Ashley Saucier; three brothers Albert A. (Cyndi) Stansbury of Franklin, Rodney J. Stansbury and significant other Rhonda Wirtz of Morgan City, and Robert P. Stansbury and significant other Mary Thompson of Bayou Vista; three sisters Claribel (Jimmy) Jones of Lake Charles, Sheila E. (Steve) Pauley of Benton, Arkansas and Peggy G. (Mike) Aucoin of Calumet; five granddaughters Brittany Stansbury, Raven Stansbury, Chasitiy Stansbury, Pauline Romero,and Fraylee Francis; three godsons Albert A. Stansbury Jr., Clifford Pauley, Albert T. Stansbury II; one goddaughter Elizabeth Lyons; and numerous nieces and nephews. She also had a special niece Brandy Legendre and two special great nieces Kila and Ally Stansbury. Ronnie, Hailey (McDonald Baby), and Kinsley (Miracle Baby) her special babies. There was also two special friends Spencer Robin and Brianna King.
She was preceded in death by her husband Lucius P. Romero Sr., her parents, and a grandson Alexander Stansbury.
