Debra Denise Torrance Theriot

Debra Denise Torrance Theriot, a longtime resident of Bayou L’Ourse formerly from Starks, La passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family and friends on March 11, 2024.

Born December 12,1951 to parents John Stennis Torrance Jr. and Frances Florene Johnson. Debra is survived by her daughter, Tyra C. Clark, son Randall Scott Myers both of Bayou L’Ourse. Three grandchildren, Jaryd Grace of NC,  Brittney Plaisance and wife Danielle of Thibodeaux, Jessa Lynne Wade of Bayou L’Ourse and sister Darla Says of Starks, La. Several nieces and nephews related or otherwise loved as such.

Debra loved being on the water, fishing, and spending time at her camp.  Her grandchildren always made her smile.  Any time she was with them was treasured and remembered fondly.   Her friends knew her as someone who was very loyal.  She could always be counted on to bring either a smile or a debate!!!!!! Most lost, but they went away with a smile anyway!

She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Craig and Gil Torrance and her nephew Stephen Torrance, of Starks, La, and grandson Landon Scott Myers of Bayou L’Ourse, La.

As per her request, there will be a short visitation at Twin City Funeral home on Saturday, March 16,2024 from 11am till 3pm.
