We are celebrating the life of Mama Dot.

A beautiful mother, grandmother, great grandmother, mom-n-law and friend to many.  Dot was a very intelligent, talented and generous person.  Crossword puzzles, making crafty items to give away and watching football games were high on her list.  Oh, can’t forget her clearance sales.  Her biggest passion was her family.  They were the best part of her life.

Dot is survived by her five children, sons, Robert Jr. (Bobby) and wife Kim, Jacques (Joey), William (Billy) and wife Kristie; daughters, Danette Mollere and Katherine (Katie) Adam; 17 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren.

Dot was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Rilda Hodge; husband, Robert Olivier; daughter, Dorothy (Dotty) Olivier; son, Harry (Eddie) Olivier; granddaughter, Tyra Olivier; grandson, Joshua Adam; son-in-laws, Pat Mollere and Tom Adam; three sisters and one brother.

We are so thankful and blessed to have shared our lives with Mama Dot, whose smile lit up the room.

The family would like to thank Dr. William Cefalu and the staff on the 6^th floor of Ochsner St. Mary, for making Dot’s transition peacefully.

Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 23, 2023 at Twin City Funeral Home.  Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23, 2023 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m.  After service, Dot will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
