It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Earl John Aucoin Jr., a beloved member of the Morgan City community. Earl was born on January 24, 1958, in Morgan City, LA, and sadly departed from this world on September 1, 2024.
Earl was a dedicated fisherman and shrimper, known for his love of the sea and hard work ethic. He took pride in his work and was respected by all who knew him. Earl's passion extended beyond the waters, as he also enjoyed working on his car, a hobby that brought him great joy.
Earl had a love for music and cherished moments spent with family and friends during gatherings. He had a warm and welcoming presence that will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind his loving wife, Janet Aucoin, his daughter Elizabeth Aucoin, his brother Troy Brinson and wife Denice, and his sister Darlene Hunt and husband Ernest. Earl will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents Earl and Doris Aucoin, sister Becky Menard and brother Perry Aucoin.
Funeral Services will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. A visitation will take place at Twin City Funeral Home on Monday, September 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. unit the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Earl will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the funeral service.
