Earl Joseph Cavalier

Earl Joseph Cavalier, 80, a resident of Houma, passed away peacefully, Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Earl enjoyed spending his free time hunting and fishing. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Earl was born September 6, 1942, Napoleonville, the son of Herbert Cavalier Sr. and Olivia Morris Cavalier.

He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his companion of 40 years, Shirley Theriot; two daughters, Julie Veron and husband Chuck, and Kim Percle and husband Scott.; four brothers, Edward Cavalier, Robert Cavalier, Jerry Cavalier, and Herbert Cavalier Jr.; one sister, Aurelia Landry; three grandchildren, Kayla Veillion and husband Lonnie, Kourtney Percle and husband Blake, and Gage Veron; and four great grandchildren.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Olivia Morris Cavalier; two brothers, Franklin Cavalier Sr., and Kelvin Cavalier; one sister, Odilia Pennison; and two brother-in-law’s, Joe Landry, and Dewey Pennison.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00a.m., Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Wednesday May 10, 2023, at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:00 a.m., until the time of services. After services, Earl will be laid to rest at St. Andrew’s Cemetery in Amelia.
