Elizabeth L. Risk, 68, a resident of Morgan City, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Ochsner Baton Rouge.
Elizabeth was born February 10, 1954, in Morgan City, Louisiana, the daughter of Claude Joseph LeBlanc Jr. and Marjorie LeBlanc.
Elizabeth was a faithful woman of God. She always thought about others before herself and was considered a mother to many people. Elizabeth was the person everyone would go to for guidance when they were in need of help.
She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her one son David Risk and fiancée Melanie Voll; two sisters, Jean LeBlanc and Suzanne LeBlanc; one brother, Claude LeBlanc III (Lanni); five nieces, Mandy Wininger, Nicole LeBlanc, Michelle, Jacquelyn, and Renee; one nephew, Cortney Joshua Ahoyt; one grandnephew, Jayme Wininger; two grandnieces, Kai Wininger and Miah Wininger; one great grandniece, Olivia Adams.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Marjorie LeBlanc; one grandnephew, Porter Wininger.
Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 15, 2022, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City, and continue Thursday, September 15, 2022 from 8:00 am. until 10:15 a.m. at Twin City Funeral Home.
